I Was Never Supposed to Fit.
I moved to North Idaho on purpose, not for the politics or the hunting, but because, as a family, it was the right move at the time. That’s been the pattern — less blueprint, more direction of travel.
I’m a real estate agent and AI systems builder based in Kootenai, in Bonner County. Two businesses that sound completely unrelated until you understand what they’re actually for.
How I Got Here
I got into real estate because a cold, disinterested agent handled the purchase of our home — and I decided I could do it better. I’ve been doing it better ever since.
I got into AI automation because my ADHD brain needed systems that worked the way I actually think, not the way productivity books say I should. I built those systems for myself first. Then I started building them for other people.
The Human Behind the Work
Home has always been near water — ocean, river, lake, it never mattered which. I wouldn’t know what it feels like not to have one close enough to visit on a whim. North Idaho gave me the lake. That wasn’t an accident.
When I’m not working: competitive kayak bass fishing, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars, and whatever sci-fi or fantasy rabbit hole I’m currently in. I’ve been married since 1992. I became a father at 21 — not a strategy I’d recommend, but one that produces excellent people when you’re fortunate enough to have the right partner.
My dog Benelli handles security and quality testing of any meals I am enjoying (that she can convince me to share at least) or snacks she can spot.
